Hi Ron, How are you? Hailey's 5th Tinkerbell birthday party was a huge success! And everyone raved about your food, of course. We actually froze some of the leftovers, and served them to my family who were visiting from Texas (just this past weekend). And being from Texas, I have to tell you they all thought the food was fabulous. I'm very picky about my barbecue…I miss Austin's and Dallas' bbq restaurants. So it's refreshing to know you're around!

Celebration of Life on September 19 at Brengle Terrace. You provided the catering for my dad's "Celebration of Life" on September 19 at Brengle Terrace. I can not express how pleased I was at how it turned out. Setting up the event was efficient and extremely easy. All phone calls were responded to in a timely manner. Your service people were so professional. They showed up on time, totally prepared and unobtrusive to the event going on around them. The serving of the food for 114 people went off without a hitch and their cleanup and departure were not in the least bit disturbing to all that was going on with that many people there. AND BEST OF ALL WAS THE FOOD. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! EVERYONE RAVED ABOUT IT. I believe some of our friends even got business cards for possible future events. Thank you so much for your wonderful job. It really helped to make a day that had sadness to it become a truly great day!

Dear Ron & Chefs at Smoke House Grills, Thank you so much for doing a fantastic job for our party held at Naval Air Station North Island. Our guests commented on how great the food was! We were happy we went the extra mile in offering our guests better options for fresh, properly prepared food on site, as opposed to using standard "catering out of a box" as so many events seem to use. In the end it turned out to be more cost effective and twice as good! We wanted the food to have as much thought and care as we put into our event, and it did. You didn't let us down. Ron - The lunch you provided was fabulous. The attorneys and staff who share this office continue to rave, proclaiming that this is absolutely the best lunch we have ever had catered in over the past 20+ years which is quite a compliment considering we have lunch catered in every two or three months. We have had so many of our guests ask about where your restaurant is and we had to disappoint them and tell them that you only cater. When you left, we had a lot of left overs but by 11:00 pm that night, it was all gone!! We all wondered into the house and we all ate again. It was great. We even had so many people tell us that they have never eaten so much in there life, but could not stop eating your delicious food. You proved me wrong with your tender and juicy tri-tip. My favorite is still your poppy seed salad. Smoke House Grill is by far the best barbecue we have had and your team's professionalism was great. That food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I ate way more than I should have, and I knew I was doing it at the time, but I couldn't resist eating more. The tri-tip was some of the best I've ever had, and even though the cake looked simple, it too was incredible. The general consensus from everyone who was there is pretty much the same. Great job!

He was very friendly and did some extras for us like clearing plates and bringing in the cake for a birthday celebration. He was great the entire night. Ron, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for a flawless event this past Saturday (8/11/07). You helped make my dad's 70th birthday party a great hit, for his 90 guests. Your food was spectacular! I want you to know that I appreciate your flexibility with our German menu requests. The tri tip and the four types of German sausage were all outstanding. All of the salads were fantastic! The hot German potato salad was "As good as my moms", but I will never admit to her that I said that!!! We couldn't do it alone, without discounts and support from local businesses such as yours. this is what happens with volunteer work, when the fund raising event is over ~ it's back to reality for me!
